#4: Your Contractor Should Give You Confidence

Assurance

Dell Air stands behind its work like no other area home comfort company.

  • 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not 100% satisfied with our people, our products, or our service, we will fix it immediately or give you a 100% refund... no questions asked. Your trust means more than continuing business and referrals; it means the pride we take in doing the job right... the first time.
  • Five Year Service Guarantee on All Repairs. Dell Air is fully-committed to customer satisfaction long after the service repair. We proudly extend this full five year guarantee on any repair with no overtime to all our Comfort Care Club members for the lifetime of the preventative maintenance agreement.
  • Money-back Guarantee for Breakdowns after Tune-up. We are so confident in our tune-ups and their recommendations, we will credit the full cost of the tune-up to repair or replacement if the unit fails any time in the year following.
  • Your Rebates Guaranteed. Dell Air will prepare each of your rebate applications and submit them to you for signing and mailing. The rebate checks are then mailed directly to your home. This guarantees that you will receive everything to which you are entitled. If for any reason the manufacturer or utility doesn't pay you, we will.
  • Best Value at Lowest Cost Guarantee. We will give you $100 if you present a better installation offer to us in writing. This must be based on an apples-to-apples comparison to our detailed work specification using comparable products, efficiency and quality standards. We are confident that our price to you will be the best value you can receive in the marketplace.

Security

Every Dell Air technician and sales associate who comes into your home:

  • Has signed a NO-Pressure Sales Pledge and a strict Code of Conduct.
  • Carries a photo ID and wears a uniform or professional business attire.
  • Is bonded and is subject to random drug-testing.
  • Will use shoe covers, mats or clean drop cloths to protect your floors and furnishings.
  • Will never leave your home without first:
    1. Thoroughly examining the work completed
    2. Cleaning all areas and removing any packing and debris

If we have installed new heating or cooling equipment, the lead technician will

    1. Sign off on the completed work using our Job-end Checklist
    2. Give you the opportunity to record your comments.

If you have expressed a concern, or if any new equipment has been installed, you will receive a call from one of our managing partners.

State-of-the-Art Installations

Every phase of installation is according to the best practices of our industry. This includes:

  • A thorough sizing analysis using detailed measurements, an extensive questionnaire and precise industry-approved load calculations. WARNING: According to the U.S. Department of Energy, "...well over half of all HVAC contractors do not size heating and cooling systems correctly." Consequences include costly inefficient operation, inadequate comfort levels and premature failure.
  • Replacement of refrigerant piping -- critical for extending the life of new equipment by removing contaminants left by the old system.
  • Braizing lines with silver alloys using air acetylene torches. These high temperature welds are stronger and less subject to vibration failure than the propane torch soldering some use.
  • Triple-evacuation of refrigerant piping. Despite requirement by manufacturers, many skip this step because of the time it requires. Your cost -- a shorter life for your new system.
  • Testing refrigerant lines with a micron gauge. Many don't have this expensive piece of equipment necessary to detect the tiny leaks that drain efficiency.
  • Making power and control wiring modifications necessary to bring the new installation in line with code.
  • Installation of new condensate piping where required. Improper sizing can result in expensive water damage to surrounding structures.
  • Fabrication of custom ducting with our in-house state-of-the-art plasma cutters where necessary to insure a balanced efficient air flow. Many try to make due cobbling together prefabricated components from a supplier's shelves. While this is adequate for most applications, failure to craft precision duct work where required seriously compromises economy and performance. Think of your ductwork as your home's circulatory system. A poorly designed section of ductwork is like a clogged artery.

Stability

Every Dell Air technician and sales associate carries with him these important documents:

  • A current insurance certificate showing $2 million coverage per occurance for bodily injury, property damage and personal medical expenses, $1 million each accident for vehicular accident and $1 million for worker's compenation.
  • A list of references with customer name and phone number.
  • Letters from our banker, our key supplier, and manufacturer attesting to our financial soundness.
